Beliefs
Catholicism is a monotheistic religion which means that Catholics only believe in one god. Catholics believe that Jesus is the Messiah (the son of God) and was born of the Virgin Mary. Catholic's fundamental belief is the Holy Trinity, which is; The Father (god), The Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Catholics also believe in the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that he will come again. Catholics are firm believers of the after-life: resurrection of the body into to heaven or hell.
